 What is CaPFA

CAPFA was originally formed at the Public Expenditure Management regional conference in Trinidad, in February 2003. In June 2003, the interim Board of the network decided that the body should be renamed from the ‘PEM Network’ to better reflect its role as the regional association covering all aspects of public finance management. Thus the name was changed to the Caribbean Public Finance Association (CAPFA).
 
The Caribbean Public Finance Association(CAPFA) is a dynamic organization of public sector finance professionals dedicated to improving the standards and profile of public financial management throughout the Caribbean.
